Frozen Fruit Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups mixed frozen fruit (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, peaches, mango)
  • 1 cup yogurt (plain or flavored, like vanilla)
  • 1 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice (optional, for added zing)
  • Chopped nuts or shredded coconut (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Fruit:
    • If using larger frozen fruit, chop them into smaller pieces. You can let them thaw slightly to make mixing easier.
  2. Mix the Base:
    • In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, whipped cream, honey (or maple syrup), and lemon (or lime juice). Mix until smooth.
  3. Combine Ingredients:
    • Gently fold in the mixed frozen fruit until evenly coated with the yogurt mixture.
  4. Freeze:
    • Transfer the fruit mixture into a freezer-safe container or dish. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Set in Freezer:
    • Cover the container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until solid.
  6. Serve:
    • When ready to serve, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly. Scoop into bowls and top with chopped nuts or shredded coconut if desired.

Enjoy!
