Natural Teeth Whitening and Tartar Removal Paste

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp hydrogen peroxide (3% solution)
  • A few drops of lemon juice (optional for whitening)
  • 1/2 tsp toothpaste (fluoride-based)
  • A soft-bristle toothbrush

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Ingredients: In a small bowl, combine the baking soda, salt, and hydrogen peroxide. Add the toothpaste and a couple of drops of lemon juice if desired.
  2. Form a Paste: Stir the mixture until it forms a paste-like consistency.
  3. Apply the Paste: Dip your toothbrush into the paste and gently brush your teeth for 1-2 minutes. Focus on areas where tartar builds up.
  4. Rinse Thoroughly: After brushing, rinse your mouth with water and spit out the excess paste.
  5. Repeat Once a Week: This treatment should only be done once a week to avoid enamel erosion.

Note:

  • Hydrogen Peroxide: Use only a 3% solution as higher concentrations can damage your teeth.
  • Baking Soda: It is abrasive, so it should be used sparingly to avoid wearing down enamel.

While some people find these ingredients effective, regular dental checkups and cleanings are essential for maintaining oral health.
