Fenugreek Water for Hair Growth & Hair Fall Control

Fenugreek (also known as methi) seeds are packed with nutrients that promote hair growth and prevent hair fall. Here’s a simple recipe to make fenugreek water at home.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons fenugreek seeds
  • 1 cup water
  • Optional: A few drops of essential oil (like lavender or rosemary)

Instructions:

  1. Soak Fenugreek Seeds:
    • Take 2 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds and rinse them under running water.
    • Place the rinsed seeds in a bowl and add 1 cup of water.
    • Let the seeds soak overnight (8-12 hours). This softens the seeds and allows the water to absorb the nutrients.
  2. Strain the Water:
    • After soaking, strain the water into a clean bowl or bottle.
    • You can discard the seeds or use them in hair masks (blend into a paste).
  3. Optional (Essential Oil):
    • Add a few drops of lavender or rosemary essential oil to the fenugreek water for additional benefits and a pleasant scent.
  4. How to Use Fenugreek Water:
    • Use the fenugreek water as a rinse after shampooing your hair.
    • Pour it gently over your scalp and hair, massaging it in for a few minutes.
    • Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with cool water (optional; you can leave it in if desired).

Benefits:

  • Promotes Hair Growth: Fenugreek is rich in proteins and nicotinic acid that strengthen hair follicles and encourage hair growth.
  • Stops Hair Fall: It contains hormone antecedents that help to replenish hair growth and reduce thinning.
  • Hydrates and Nourishes: Fenugreek water conditions the scalp and reduces dandruff, contributing to healthier hair.

Use 2-3 times a week for best results.
