- 1 cup fresh ginger root (peeled and roughly chopped)

- 1–2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice (optional)

Instructions:
- Prepare the Ginger:
- Peel the ginger root using a spoon or a vegetable peeler.
- Roughly chop the ginger into small pieces.
- Blend the Ginger:
- Add the chopped ginger and water to a blender.
- Blend on high speed until the ginger is finely ground and well mixed with the water (about 2–3 minutes).
- Strain the Juice:
- Pour the blended ginger mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a bowl.
- Press down on the ginger pulp to extract as much juice as possible.
- Optional Add-ins:
- Stir in honey or your preferred sweetener to taste. This helps balance the strong ginger flavor.
- Add lemon juice for a touch of acidity and freshness.
- For a bit of complexity, add a pinch of salt.
- Serve and Store:
- Pour the ginger juice into a bottle or jar.
- Chill it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Ginger juice can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
