DIY Stainless Steel Cleaner

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda (optional, for extra scrubbing power)
  • 10-15 drops of essential oil (like lemon or tea tree for a fresh scent, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Combine the Ingredients:
    • In a spray bottle, mix together the white vinegar and water. If you’re using baking soda, add it slowly to the mixture (it may fizz).
  2. Add Essential Oils:
    • If you want a pleasant scent, add a few drops of your chosen essential oil to the mixture. This is optional.
  3. Shake Well:
    • Secure the lid on the spray bottle and shake gently to combine all the ingredients.
  4. Apply the Cleaner:
    • Spray the solution onto the stainless steel surface you want to clean. Make sure to cover all areas evenly.
  5. Wipe Clean:
    • Using a soft cloth or microfiber cloth, wipe the surface in the direction of the grain. This will help to avoid streaks and ensure a shiny finish.
  6. Buff for Shine:
    • For an extra shine, buff the stainless steel surface with a dry cloth after cleaning.

Tips:

  • Always test the cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it won’t damage the finish.
  • For tough stains, let the cleaner sit for a few minutes before wiping it off.
  • Regular cleaning will help maintain the shine and prevent build-up.

Enjoy your sparkling stainless steel surfaces!
