Mint, Lemon & Ginger Juice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 large lemon (or 2 small lemons)
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 3 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Lemon slices and mint sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients:
    • Squeeze the juice from the lemon into a blender or a bowl (if using a hand blender). Remove any seeds.
    • Add the chopped ginger and fresh mint leaves.
  2. Blend:
    • Pour the cold water over the lemon juice, ginger, and mint mixture.
    • Blend everything until the ginger and mint are finely processed.
  3. Strain:
    • Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove the pulp. You can skip this step if you prefer a more textured juice.
  4. Sweeten (Optional):
    • Stir in honey or maple syrup to add a touch of sweetness. You can adjust based on your preference.
  5. Serve:
    • Pour the juice into glasses over ice cubes. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of mint for an extra fresh look.
  6. Chill & Enjoy:
    • Serve immediately or refrigerate for a bit to enhance the refreshing taste.

This juice is great for digestion (thanks to ginger) and is naturally cooling with the mint and lemon!
