Ingredients:
- Black Seed Oil (Nigella Sativa) – 2 tablespoons
Black seed oil is rich in thymoquinone, an antioxidant that may help strengthen hair follicles and reduce hair loss. - Coconut Oil – 2 tablespoons
Coconut oil deeply moisturizes the scalp, prevents protein loss in hair, and promotes healthier, shinier growth.
Optional Ingredients:
- Aloe Vera Gel (1 tablespoon) – for extra hydration and soothing of the scalp.
- Castor Oil (1 tablespoon) – boosts thickness and growth.
Instructions:
- Warm the Oils: In a small bowl, gently warm the black seed oil and coconut oil. You can do this by placing the bowl in hot water for a few minutes. This helps activate the ingredients.
- Mix: Stir the oils together until well combined. If you’re using aloe vera gel or castor oil, add them in now and mix thoroughly.
- Apply to Scalp: Part your hair in sections and gently massage the mixture into your scalp using your fingertips. Focus on the roots and work your way to the ends of your hair.
- Let it Sit: Cover your hair with a shower cap or towel, and leave the mask on for at least 30 minutes. You can also leave it on overnight for a more intensive treatment.
- Rinse: Wash your hair with a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo, followed by conditioner. You may need to shampoo twice to completely remove the oils.
- Frequency: For best results, use this mask 1-2 times a week.
This hair mask aims to nourish the scalp, strengthen hair, and potentially encourage faster growth over time.
