DIY Hair Growth Mask Recipe:

Ingredients:

  1. Black Seed Oil (Nigella Sativa) – 2 tablespoons
Black seed oil is rich in thymoquinone, an antioxidant that may help strengthen hair follicles and reduce hair loss.
  2. Coconut Oil – 2 tablespoons
Coconut oil deeply moisturizes the scalp, prevents protein loss in hair, and promotes healthier, shinier growth.

Optional Ingredients:

  • Aloe Vera Gel (1 tablespoon) – for extra hydration and soothing of the scalp.
  • Castor Oil (1 tablespoon) – boosts thickness and growth.

Instructions:

  1. Warm the Oils: In a small bowl, gently warm the black seed oil and coconut oil. You can do this by placing the bowl in hot water for a few minutes. This helps activate the ingredients.
  2. Mix: Stir the oils together until well combined. If you’re using aloe vera gel or castor oil, add them in now and mix thoroughly.
  3. Apply to Scalp: Part your hair in sections and gently massage the mixture into your scalp using your fingertips. Focus on the roots and work your way to the ends of your hair.
  4. Let it Sit: Cover your hair with a shower cap or towel, and leave the mask on for at least 30 minutes. You can also leave it on overnight for a more intensive treatment.
  5. Rinse: Wash your hair with a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo, followed by conditioner. You may need to shampoo twice to completely remove the oils.
  6. Frequency: For best results, use this mask 1-2 times a week.

This hair mask aims to nourish the scalp, strengthen hair, and potentially encourage faster growth over time.
