Ingredients:
- 5-7 cloves
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon malt powder
- 1 cup skimmed milk
Instructions:
- Boil the Cloves:
Add 5-7 cloves to a small saucepan with 1 cup of water. Bring the water to a boil and let it continue boiling until the water changes color to a light brownish hue, indicating the clove infusion is ready (about 5-10 minutes). - Strain the Water:
Once the water has changed color, remove it from heat and strain the liquid to discard the cloves. - Add Malt and Milk:
In the strained clove water, add 1 tablespoon of malt powder and stir until dissolved. Then, add 1 cup of skimmed milk. - Heat and Serve:
Gently warm the mixture over low heat until it’s just warmed through (do not boil). - Drink Warm:
Enjoy the clove-infused malt milk warm, about 30 minutes before your next meal or drink.
This warming drink may offer soothing benefits from cloves, a spice known for its digestive and anti-inflammatory properties!
