Ingredients:
- 2 whole lemons, peeled
- 2 large bunches of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
- 1 whole head of garlic, peeled
- 2 tablespoons of turmeric powder (or 2-inch piece of fresh turmeric root, peeled and chopped)
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 ½ tablespoons of cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)
- ½ tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (ACV)
- 1 ½ tablespoons of honey (or to taste)
- 3 cups of water
Instructions:
- Blend Ingredients: Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and well-combined. For a smoother mixture, you can strain it using cheesecloth, as this removes any remaining sediment that a fine mesh sieve might miss.
- Portion and Freeze: Pour the strained mixture into a silicone muffin tray, filling each section with about 1/8 cup. Freeze until solid.
- Storage: Once frozen, transfer the “tea bombs” to a freezer-safe container or bag for easy storage.
- To Serve: When ready to enjoy, place a tea bomb in a mug and pour hot water over it. Stir until dissolved. Adjust sweetness with additional honey if desired.
These tea bombs have a strong, warming kick due to the cayenne pepper—feel free to modify the spice level to suit your taste!
