Ingredients:
- π 1 big pineapple (peeled and diced)
- π± 3 cups of diced ginger
- π 4 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
- π₯ Sugar to taste
- π§ 2 liters of water
- π§ 2 cloves of peeled garlic (optional)
Preparation:
- Boil the Water
- Bring the 2 liters of water to a boil and stir in sugar until it’s completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Blend the Ingredients
- In a blender, combine the diced pineapple, diced ginger, and garlic (if using). Blend until smooth.
- Mix with Sugar Syrup
- Pour the blended mixture into the cooled sugar water. Add the lemon or lime juice and mix thoroughly.
- Strain the Mixture
- Transfer the mixture into a cotton strainer or fine-mesh sieve, and strain it into a container with a cover to extract as much liquid as possible.
- Let It Infuse
- Cover the container and allow the mixture to sit for at least 8 hours, or overnight for a stronger flavor.
- Serve
- Serve chilled with ice cubes. You can also add a splash of cold soda water or your choice of liquor for an extra kick.
