Raisin Water Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup raisins (preferably organic)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the Raisins: Place the raisins in a colander and rinse them thoroughly under cool running water.
  2. Soak the Raisins:
    • Transfer the rinsed raisins into a clean bowl.
    • Pour the 2 cups of water over the raisins, ensuring they are fully submerged.
    • Cover the bowl and let the raisins soak overnight (about 8-12 hours).
  3. Strain and Heat the Water:
    • In the morning, strain the soaked raisins, separating them from the water.
    • Pour the raisin-infused water into a saucepan and heat it on low flame until it is warm but not boiling.
  4. Drink the Raisin Water:
    • Pour the warm raisin water into a glass.
    • Drink it on an empty stomach in the morning.

Note: You can also eat the soaked raisins if you like.
