Blueberry Water Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 lemon (optional, for added flavor)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • 6-8 cups of cold water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Rinse the blueberries thoroughly under cold water.
    • If using lemon, slice it into thin rounds.
    • Gently crush the mint leaves with your fingers to release their flavor.
  2. Combine Ingredients:
    • In a large pitcher, add the blueberries. If you like a stronger flavor, gently muddle (crush) some of the blueberries with a spoon to release their juices.
    • Add the lemon slices and mint leaves (if using) to the pitcher.
  3. Add Water and Ice:
    • Pour the cold water into the pitcher over the ingredients. Stir gently to combine.
    • Add ice cubes to the pitcher to keep the water cold and refreshing.
  4. Infuse and Serve:
    • Allow the water to sit in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to let the flavors infuse. The longer it sits, the more intense the flavor will be.
    • Stir before serving. Pour the infused water into glasses, making sure to include some of the blueberries and lemon slices.
  5. Enjoy:
    • Sip and enjoy this refreshing, antioxidant-rich drink! It’s perfect for a hot day or anytime you want a hydrating and delicious beverage.

Tips:

  • You can add other fruits like strawberries, raspberries, or cucumber for a twist.
  • To make it a bit sweeter, you can add a little honey or a natural sweetener.

Benefits: Blueberry water is not only tasty but also packed with antioxidants and vitamins. It’s a great way to stay hydrated while enjoying a burst of natural flavor! 🫐
