Corn on the cob is a summer favorite, but it can be messy and time-consuming to shuck and remove the silk. There’s a quick and easy way to enjoy delicious corn on the cob without all the hassle: microwave it!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ears of corn, husks intact
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the corn: Leave the husks on the corn, but remove the silk. You can do this by peeling back the husks and gently pulling off the silk.
  2. Microwave: Place the corn in a microwave-safe dish. Microwave on high for 5-7 minutes, or until the corn is tender.
  3. Serve: Remove the corn from the microwave and carefully peel back the husks. Discard the husks.
  4. Top with butter, salt, and pepper: Cut the corn in half and top with butter, salt, and pepper. Serve immediately.

Tips:

  • If you don’t have a microwave, you can boil the corn on the cob for 5-7 minutes or until tender.
  • To add extra flavor, you can brush the corn with olive oil or melted butter before microwaving.
  • You can also add other toppings to your corn, such as chili powder, lime juice, or grated cheese.

Enjoy!
