Rosemary Hair Butter for Extreme Hair Growth

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shea butter (unrefined)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (extra virgin)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (extra virgin)
  • 1 tablespoon castor oil
  • 10 drops rosemary essential oil
  • 5 drops peppermint essential oil (optional for cooling sensation)
  • 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil

Instructions:

  1. Melt the Butters:
    • In a double boiler, gently melt the shea butter and coconut oil until fully liquefied. Avoid direct heat to prevent losing the natural benefits of the oils.
  2. Mix in the Oils:
    • Once the shea butter and coconut oil are melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
    • Add olive oil, castor oil, and vitamin E oil to the melted mixture, stirring well to combine.
  3. Add Essential Oils:
    • Add the rosemary essential oil and peppermint essential oil (if using) to the mixture. Stir thoroughly to ensure the oils are well incorporated.
  4. Cool and Whip:
    • Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 20-30 minutes, or until it starts to solidify around the edges.
    • Using a hand mixer, whip the mixture for 5-7 minutes until it becomes light and fluffy.
  5. Store the Hair Butter:
    • Transfer the whipped rosemary hair butter into a clean, airtight jar.
    • Store in a cool, dry place. The butter should last for up to 6 months.

How to Use:

  • For Scalp Treatment: Apply a small amount of the rosemary hair butter directly to your scalp, massaging it in with your fingertips. This stimulates blood circulation, promoting hair growth.
  • For Hair Moisturization: Rub a small amount between your palms and apply it to the ends of your hair or along the length to seal in moisture, reduce frizz, and prevent split ends.
  • Overnight Treatment: For a more intensive treatment, apply the butter to your scalp and hair, cover with a shower cap, and leave it on overnight. Wash out the next morning for soft, nourished hair.

Benefits:

  • Rosemary Essential Oil: Known to stimulate hair growth by improving blood circulation in the scalp and reducing hair loss.
  • Shea Butter and Coconut Oil: Moisturize and nourish the hair, preventing breakage and promoting thickness.
  • Castor Oil: Rich in fatty acids, it strengthens hair strands and promotes hair growth.
  • Peppermint Oil: Optional, but adds a refreshing, cooling sensation that can soothe the scalp.

Enjoy your journey to thicker, longer, and healthier hair with this all-natural rosemary hair butter!
