Anti-Swelling Herbal Tea

Ingredients:

1 tsp Nigella seeds (black seeds)
1 tsp dried ginger root or ½ tsp ground ginger
1 tsp dried dandelion root (diuretic to reduce water retention)
½ tsp turmeric powder (anti-inflammatory)
1 tsp cinnamon (improves circulation)
1 tsp hibiscus flowers (diuretic, rich in antioxidants)
1 slice of fresh lemon
Honey to taste (optional)
3 cups water
Instructions:

Prepare the ingredients:

If using whole seeds or roots (like Nigella seeds or dandelion root), you may want to crush them slightly using a mortar and pestle to release more flavor and nutrients.
Boil the water:

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
Add the ingredients:

Once the water is boiling, reduce heat to low. Add the Nigella seeds, dried ginger, dandelion root, turmeric, cinnamon, and hibiscus flowers to the water.
Simmer:

Let the mixture simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes, allowing all the ingredients to infuse.
Strain and serve:

Strain the tea into a mug using a fine mesh strainer.
Add lemon and sweeten:

Add a slice of fresh lemon and sweeten with honey if desired.
Enjoy:

Drink this tea once or twice a day for best results.
