Bay Leaf Tea Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 dried bay leaves
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • A slice of lemon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Boil the Water
    In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the Bay Leaves
    Once the water is boiling, add the bay leaves. Let the leaves simmer in the boiling water for about 5 minutes.
  3. Steep
    After boiling, turn off the heat and cover the pan. Let the bay leaves steep for another 5 minutes.
  4. Strain
    Strain the liquid to remove the bay leaves.
  5. Serve
    Pour the tea into a cup. You can add a teaspoon of honey or a slice of lemon for added flavor if desired.
