Cinnamon-Infused Apple Cider Vinegar Drink

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks (or 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional for sweetness)
  • 1 cup water (to dilute when serving)
  • 1 small slice of fresh ginger (optional for added warmth)

Instructions:

  1. Infuse the vinegar:
    • Pour the apple cider vinegar into a clean glass jar or bottle.
    • Add the cinnamon sticks (or ground cinnamon) directly into the vinegar. If using ground cinnamon, stir to combine.
    • Optionally, add a small slice of fresh ginger for an extra spicy kick.
  2. Seal and let it sit:
    • Close the jar or bottle tightly.
    • Let it sit in a cool, dark place for 3 to 5 days, shaking gently once a day to mix. This will allow the cinnamon to infuse into the vinegar.
  3. Strain and store:
    • After the infusion period, strain the vinegar to remove the cinnamon and ginger if you prefer a clear liquid.
    • Transfer the infused vinegar into a clean bottle for storage.
  4. Serving suggestion:
    • To enjoy the drink, dilute 1-2 tablespoons of the cinnamon-infused vinegar with a glass of water.
    • Add honey to taste if you’d like a touch of sweetness.
