Cucumber-Pineapple Juice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 large cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks (about 1/2 of a medium pineapple)
  • 1/2 cup coconut water (optional, for added hydration and flavor)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1-2 tablespoons agave nectar or honey (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Peel and chop the cucumber into small pieces. Cut the pineapple into chunks, removing the core.
  2. Blend: In a blender, combine the cucumber, pineapple chunks, lime juice, and coconut water (if using). Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain (optional): If you prefer a smoother juice, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large bowl or pitcher to remove the pulp. Use a spoon to press the mixture and extract as much juice as possible.
  4. Sweeten (optional): Taste the juice. If you prefer it sweeter, add agave nectar or honey to taste, and stir well.
  5. Serve: Pour the juice into glasses over ice cubes if desired. Garnish with a slice of cucumber or pineapple on the rim of the glass for an extra touch.
  6. Enjoy: Sip and enjoy your refreshing Cucumber-Pineapple Juice!

Tips:

  • For a chilled beverage, refrigerate the ingredients before blending.
  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less agave nectar/honey based on your preference.
  • This juice is best enjoyed fresh, but it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Enjoy your refreshing and hydrating Cucumber-Pineapple Juice!
