Ingredients:
- 1 large cucumber, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks (about 1/2 of a medium pineapple)
- 1/2 cup coconut water (optional, for added hydration and flavor)
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1-2 tablespoons agave nectar or honey (optional, for added sweetness)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare Ingredients: Peel and chop the cucumber into small pieces. Cut the pineapple into chunks, removing the core.
- Blend: In a blender, combine the cucumber, pineapple chunks, lime juice, and coconut water (if using). Blend until smooth.
- Strain (optional): If you prefer a smoother juice, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large bowl or pitcher to remove the pulp. Use a spoon to press the mixture and extract as much juice as possible.
- Sweeten (optional): Taste the juice. If you prefer it sweeter, add agave nectar or honey to taste, and stir well.
- Serve: Pour the juice into glasses over ice cubes if desired. Garnish with a slice of cucumber or pineapple on the rim of the glass for an extra touch.
- Enjoy: Sip and enjoy your refreshing Cucumber-Pineapple Juice!
Tips:
- For a chilled beverage, refrigerate the ingredients before blending.
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less agave nectar/honey based on your preference.
- This juice is best enjoyed fresh, but it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
