Detox Soup for Intestinal and Liver Health

Intestines and liver will feel rejuvenated! Only 3 days. All the toxins come out.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium beetroot, peeled and diced
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup kale or spinach, chopped
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
  • 4 cups vegetable broth or water
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Vegetables:
    • Start by washing and preparing all the vegetables. Dice the beetroot, carrot, celery, onion, and garlic. Shred the cabbage and chop the kale or spinach. Grate the ginger.
  2. Sauté the Base:
    • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautĂ©ing until softened and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
    • Add the grated ginger, turmeric powder, cumin, and coriander. Stir and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Cook the Vegetables:
    • Add the diced beetroot, carrot, celery, and cabbage to the pot. Pour in the vegetable broth or water. Stir well and bring to a boil.
    • Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until all the vegetables are tender.
  4. Finish and Serve:
    • Once the vegetables are cooked, add the chopped kale or spinach and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
    • Turn off the heat and stir in the lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    • Serve the soup hot, garnished with fresh parsley or cilantro.

Usage:

  • Consume this detox soup for three days, alongside plenty of water and herbal teas, to help cleanse the intestines and liver.
  • You can have this soup as your main meal or supplement it with light salads, fruits, and whole grains for added nutrients.
