However, she faced a 5-2 defeat to Kirsi Viinikainen in the final, preventing Greaves from achieving a clean sweep over the weekend.
In Event Six, Sherrock’s journey was marked by a series of decisive victories, including a 5-1 win over Robyn Byrne. She advanced to the semi-finals, where she faced Greaves. Despite a valiant effort, Sherrock fell 5-1, ending her pursuit of the title.
Kirsi Viinikainen’s Maiden Title
Finnish player Kirsi Viinikainen made headlines by securing her first PDC Women’s Series title in Event Five. She displayed exceptional skill throughout the tournament, culminating in a 5-2 victory over Sherrock in the final.
