How to Remove Skin Tags and Warts Overnight

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cotton ball or pad
  • 1 bandage or medical tape
  • Optional: 1 drop of tea tree oil

Instructions:

  1. Clean the Area:
    • Wash the area around the skin tag or wart with mild soap and warm water. Pat dry with a clean towel.
  2. Prepare the Vinegar Solution:
    • Pour the apple cider vinegar into a small bowl. If using tea tree oil, add a drop to the vinegar and mix well.
  3. Soak the Cotton Ball:
    • Dip the cotton ball or pad into the vinegar mixture, ensuring it’s thoroughly soaked.
  4. Apply the Cotton Ball:
    • Place the soaked cotton ball directly over the skin tag or wart. Make sure the affected area is fully covered by the cotton ball.
  5. Secure with a Bandage:
    • Use a bandage or medical tape to hold the cotton ball in place. Ensure it’s secure, but not too tight, allowing the area to breathe.
  6. Leave Overnight:
    • Keep the cotton ball on the skin tag or wart overnight. The vinegar works to break down the tissue, while tea tree oil (if used) adds an extra layer of antimicrobial action.
  7. Morning Routine:
    • In the morning, remove the cotton ball and clean the area with warm water. Pat it dry gently.
  8. Repeat as Needed:
    • This process may need to be repeated for several nights until the skin tag or wart shrinks or falls off. Be patient and monitor the skin for any irritation.

Note:

  • If you experience any irritation or discomfort, discontinue use immediately.
  • While apple cider vinegar is a popular home remedy, it may not work for everyone, and in some cases, it can cause skin irritation.
  • Consult a healthcare provider for persistent skin tags or warts that do not respond to home treatment.

This simple remedy utilizes the natural acids in apple cider vinegar to break down the tissue of skin tags and warts. The optional tea tree oil adds antimicrobial benefits, making this a gentle yet potentially effective overnight treatment.
