Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil (or olive oil)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (or sea salt, for exfoliation)
- 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel (optional, for extra soothing effect)
- Pumice stone or foot scrubber
- Moisturizing socks or cotton socks
Instructions:
- Soak Your Feet
- In a small tub, mix the warm milk and 2 cups of warm water.
- Soak your feet in this mixture for 10–15 minutes to soften the skin.
- Exfoliate
- In a bowl, combine the brown sugar (or sea salt) with the coconut oil.
- Gently scrub your heels and feet with this mixture, focusing on the cracked areas. Use a pumice stone to remove any tough, dead skin.
- Rinse your feet with warm water and pat dry.
- Moisturize and Treat
- In a separate bowl, mix honey, lemon juice, and aloe vera gel (if using).
- Apply this mixture generously to your heels and massage it in.
- Let it sit for 10–15 minutes.
- Seal the Moisture
- Apply a thick layer of coconut oil (or olive oil) to your heels after rinsing off the honey-lemon mixture.
- Wear moisturizing socks or cotton socks to help the oil penetrate deeply into your skin. Leave them on overnight for best results.
Tips:
- Repeat this process 2–3 times a week for faster healing.
- Keeping your feet moisturized regularly is key to preventing future cracks.
This remedy, when used consistently, can help heal cracked heels and keep your feet soft and smooth!
