Onion, Garlic, and Ginger Paste

This paste can be a great addition to soups, stews, stir-fries, marinades, and sauces.

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 5-6 cloves of garlic, peeled
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the chopped onion, garlic cloves, and ginger pieces into a blender or food processor.
  2. Pulse until the mixture forms a smooth paste.
  3. Transfer the paste to an airtight container.
  4. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze it in small portions for longer storage.

Tips

  • For added flavor, you can sauté a spoonful of the paste in oil before adding other ingredients to a dish.
  • This paste is also great for marinating meats or adding depth to vegetable dishes!
