Ingredients:
- Water: 2 cups (400 ml)
- Baking Soda: 1 packet (10 grams)
- Flour: 4.5 cups (540 grams)
- Salt: 1 teaspoon (8 grams)
- Butter (melted): 200 grams
- Oil: 1 tea glass (100 ml)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir them together until evenly distributed.
- Melt Butter: Melt the butter in a small saucepan or in the microwave. Allow it to cool slightly.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, oil, and water. Stir well to combine.
- Form the Dough: Slowly pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir with a spoon until a dough starts to form. If the dough feels too sticky, you can add a little more flour, one tablespoon at a time, until it comes together.
- Knead the Dough: Lightly flour a clean surface and knead the dough for 2-3 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Shape and Rest: Shape the dough into a loaf or divide it into smaller portions for rolls. Place the dough into the prepared baking pan. Let it rest for about 10 minutes to allow the baking soda to activate.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool: Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool slightly before slicing.
