- 100g (3.5 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 50g (1.75 oz) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Prepare the Base:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed digestive biscuits and unsweetened desiccated coconut. Mix well.
- Melt the Chocolate:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chopped milk chocolate. Heat in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between until completely melted and smooth.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Add the melted chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the biscuit and coconut mixture. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Set the Slice:
- Line a square baking dish (approximately 8×8 inches) with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and press down firmly to create an even layer.
- Add the Topping:
- Sprinkle extra desiccated coconut over the top of the slice, pressing it gently into the surface.
- Chill:
- Place the slice in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until it is firm and set.
- Serve:
- Once set, lift the slice out of the dish using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares or bars.
