Toenail Fungus Home Remedy

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 3-4 drops tea tree oil
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 2-3 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • Optional: coconut oil for moisturizing

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Soak: In a bowl, mix the apple cider vinegar and warm water (1:1 ratio). Add tea tree oil and crushed garlic cloves.
  2. Soak Your Feet: Submerge your feet (or affected toes) in the mixture for 10-15 minutes. This helps kill bacteria and loosen up dead skin around the nails.
  3. Rinse and Dry: After the soak, thoroughly rinse your feet with warm water, then dry completely.
  4. Apply Baking Soda Paste: Mix baking soda with a small amount of water to make a paste. Apply this directly to the affected nails, as baking soda may help prevent fungus growth. Leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse.
  5. Moisturize with Coconut Oil (Optional): Coconut oil has antifungal properties and can keep the skin moisturized.

Tips:

  • Repeat this daily for best results.
  • Always keep nails clean and trimmed.

Toenail fungus is stubborn, so it might take a few weeks to see improvement. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a healthcare provider.
